Deck utilisation
For a regular layout, occupied carton footprint divided by pallet deck area produces a comparable percentage. It does not measure stability.
Layer constraints
Height capacity subtracts pallet base height. Weight capacity subtracts pallet tare. The smaller layer count governs the result.
